Not Birds!

Morocco was clearly full of birdlife and we did our best to see as many as possible, however we also wanted to see any other wildlife possible and often we went out of our way to find them by turning over rocks etc! Here are the best mammals, invertebrates, reptiles and amphibians we saw during our trip!

Barbary Ground Squirrel - (Alantoxerus getulus)

Fat Sand Rat - (Psammonmys obesus)

Israeli Gold Scorpion - (Scorpio maurus)

Large Psammodromus - (Psammodromus algirus)

Bibron's Agama - (Agama impalearis)

Atlas Day Gecko - (Quedenfeldtia trachyblepharus) - A Moroccon endemic!

Iberian Wall Lizard - (Podacris hispanica)

Bosc's Fringe Toed Lizard (Acanthodactylus boskianus)

North African Green Frog -(Rana saharica)
