Try ignoring these chaps!

Around most of the great coastal locations that i visit in the UK you can almost guarantee having Turnstones knocking about. At this time of year they become unbelievably tame and the nature photographer can often find themselves either ignoring them or trying to get them out the way whilst they focus on something more important. Ignore them as much as you like but they will inevitably turn up in your photos from the day through sheer damn persistance! So next time your at the Snow Buntings of Salthouse or some rare wader on the sound coast just spend some time with these guys, they deserve it and they want you to photograph them (and give them some food!)...
