The Fox even scared this Little Egret up a tree!
Another Fox looking for breakfast
Jack Snipe, finally i managed to get a photo of one of the trickiest birds to spot (well, i've found it bloody tricky anyways...and to be fair Adam spotted this one!) It was constantly bobbing up and down which gave it away, but still....cracking and crypic camouflage!
After leaving Adam and Martin i headed to East Hyde where this Cormorant was enjoying the sun and the view!
I finally left Herts and passed through Beds into Bucks to spot some Goosander up at Newport Pagnell, no-one told me the places was flooded!
It was only a week ago i was walking on these fields! Ah well, this Kestrel more than made up for it!
My final port of call was Willen Lake in Milton Keynes. Families were out in large numbers so the wildfowl was really noisy and busy waiting for the endless supply of bread....this Moorhen however was not sure if he fancied it or not...
Red Crested Pochard (female)
Ready to go home i decided to take a quick look at the other lake at Willen, armed with some good Buckinghamshire bird knowledge for a local chap i walked round in the hope of spotting a pair of Goosander...this female was up for a bit of photography and the day ended as it began, superb!
